These are some of the pictures that we had done for Molly's Christmas pictures. (shh my mom doesn't know this yet). I had them done at Sears and let me tell you the girls there were great! Molly fell in love with the one who took her picture and actually didn't want to leave. She also wanted to take the little white wicker chair home with her....

Of course we had to take a picture with some sort of stuffed animal. I didn't really want a Christmas background at first, but they were actually my favorite pictures!!
And last but not least, her face she makes when you tell her to smile! It was funny because you either had a VERY serious face or her cheesy little smile. We had a good time together!

Chatty Cathy

Molly has been sick all weekend with a fever and cough and just feeling pretty lousy. Well even so, she does not allow the sniffles to stop her from the love of talking on the telephone. This was one of the only times today where she was actually happy and playing pretend.
She loves the telephone, and will pick it up and put it to her ear and say "heywhoa" (hello). she then will make the rounds and make everyone (including sophia) talk on the phone. so this made me happy to see her enjoying a couple of moments today, because the rest of the day was pretty bleak with a lot of whining, crying, lying around, and refusing any fluids/food.
Please pray she feels better tomorrow! Even though not feeling well, she saw the camera and had to show me her pearly whites. She's such a trooper!!
Telling NaNa "Mommy keeps taking my temperature and forcing me to take a drink". She looks pitiful, poor thing!

Sneaky

This was what happened when I thought she was in the living room with Pop reading a book, and Pop that she was with me in her room picking out an outfit for school the next day. I realized that it was just too quiet all of a sudden...

I was in Molly's room putting her clothes away and Molly decided that she would help. She loves to help fold the clothes, put things in baskets, clean, ect. WELL, she decided that she didn't like where her shirts were and took them out of the drawer they were in and started putting them into another drawer. Eventually it just turned out to be clothes all over the place, but she was very proud of herself for being such a helpful helper!

This is where we ran out of shirts in the drawer....

Ready for bed!
Molly was given this bathrobe when she was born, and it just fits her now. I brought it out because I am tired of fighting with the towel and a naked girl running around the house - she loves the robe, and now the new struggle is taking the robe off to put on our pajamas!

2008 Fall Pictures

Pumpkin... There was this really pretty weeping cherry tree in my parent's backyard, so I thought it would be a good idea to try to take some fall pictures with the Bird. She did really well until I got Tim to try to take a family picture. The one for our title picture is the best one, and it is my no means the best picture we've ever taken! Molly Bird here started to cry and didn't want to sit and it was just a disaster.
But I did get a couple of really great pictures of just Molly below!

She doesn't look like a baby anymore....she's a big girl now!!
Aw Sophia...

t-shirts

Molly woke up with wet pj's so Joe put her in this t-shirt that she got from the heart walk, and she just walked around the house in it..... *please note the sock on the hand.....

Pocketbook

My little pocketbook theif. I was emptying it when we got home from the zoo and she stole it and was walking all around the house with the pocketbook on her shoulder.... she can be so stinking cute

Philadelphia Zoo

Joe took this past weekend off to spend with Molly and I to celebrate our anneversary/my birthday. It was so nice to have him home with me 2 days in a row!! which is a rarity now that he is in school. It has been stressful for him to always be either at work or in school, so i think it was a good little breather for him before the semester starts wrapping up!
Below is a picture Joe took of the city. It was a beautiful day and we were able to get some amazing pictures! Enjoy!!
Molly was watching Backyardagains while she was waiting to go to thezoo. It was kinda cute, because she just settled herself right into the couch and placed her blanket and sat there...

Daddy had a thing for the turtles, so this is one of the million pictures that we had with them. They were really huge though, and a couple of them just looked like big old rocks....
Now that Molly walks, it was hard to keep her in her stroller for the most part, because she has a new found love for her independence! She did well for the most part and would hold on to Joe's hand. She wanted nothing to do with my hand.
I took her on the merry go round there and we chose the butterfly. It was cute. Molly of course did not want to come off the ride when it was done.
A lion. It was lying right near the glass. I have never seen a lion that up close before. Molly roared when she saw it - she's a genius I tell you!
Elephants - Molly's favorite animal
This is the Balloon that we went on. It goes up 400 ft. and you can see all of Phillie - which is where Joe took the pictures of the city. Molly thought it was great and would sway back and forth even though it wasn't that windy.Cheese! Some river I can't remember the name of... it was pretty though!

Walking Fool!!!!

Molly has finally figured out she can walk all by herself without the help of furniture, walls, walkers, or another human being!! She did this last week and she has been on the go since - and in a much better mood, might I add, because she realizes she can now chew on both hands (her molars are coming in)
YAY for Molly!!

Pine Park

Molly and I went to Pine Park last weekend - she of course had so much fun. I also just got photoshop from Tim as my early birthday present, so I have been playing around with it a little to see what I can do!! She was saying hi to another little kid there

I would put her on the middle of the slide and she would go down all by herself....she would sit there and push herself down and scream and laugh the whole way down. I was surprised how well she did with this - and we slid down the slide about a million times!!

And of course our favorite hobby....picking at woodchips

Socks & Spaghetti

She loves to have her socks on her hands. Pop does this with her and now she wants to wear them like this all of the time.... so she walked/scooted around the house with them on her hands, and then she will rub her hands all over your face!
Because we are a big girl, I let her eat from a bowl or plate and give her a fork or spoon to use. Molly will start off pretty good, but then we get tired and decide to make a mess. I am actually pretty good, believe it or not, with allowing her to practice and figure out how to use the fork and spoon. This is usually what the meal ends up looking like....
After so many tries, we resort to the hands. She is getting better though! And forget about spaghetti - first she LOVES spaghetti. I mean she would eat this stuff it I gave it to her for breakfast lunch and dinner and in between meals. She gets this from her PopPop Winkels!
She thinks she's funny. I tell her to say "All Done" but instead we flip the bowl/plate over and start smeering (you can't see it, but i had applesauce all over my wall)

Allaire

Saturday, Molly and I went to Allaire State Park. We had fun. Molly played in the playground for a bit, and went down the big slides with her, which she loved... she's becoming braver with trying to take her own steps. We're not quite there yet fully, but she will take a couple on her own. She is also becoming more daring in trying to climb on, off, and into things, which is nice to see!!
she thought this bubble thing was so funny ... goober

Below is a picture of the old town of Allaire which is in the park. It's actually really pretty. They have the old bakery, schoolhouse, church, ect. The park has a train, which was not opened that day, and then trails and stuff.

Allaire

It was so pretty...i really wanted her to look at me, but i thought that this was a cute shot too. her little buddha belly is sticking out.

Peek a boo!
